    About the Position


    The QED Group is preparing a proposal to USAID/Colombia Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Activity. The purpose of this Activity is to provide USAID/Colombia with technical and advisory services related to the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) of USAID/Colombia projects and activities. This includes providing monitoring support services; designing and implementing performance and impact evaluations, as well as other studies and assessments; developing collaborating, learning and adapting initiatives; and strengthening the Mission’s Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping and analysis capacities.


    For this reason, we are looking for short-term technical assistance in the areas listed below. Candidates from Colombia are strongly encouraged to apply.

    • University Degree in international development, social science or related field required; Advanced degree preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in the relevant field with USAID or other development donors (preferably in Colombia)
    • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, including evidence of quality report writing and presentations.
    • Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative research experience preferred.
