    We are currently seeking a Chief of Party to support the Government of Haiti in increasing its ability to finance the health sector through more effective and efficient use of existing resources and by mobilizing additional resources. The Chief of Party will also support the Government of Haiti in improving planning and oversight of the health workforce.

    Responsibilities

    • Be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and management of the award;
    • Ensuring an integrated vision among different components and actors;
    • Achieving the results defined in the agreement;
    • Liaise with USAID/Haiti, the Government of Haiti, and all other counterparts and implementing organizations involved with health, finance, governance, and human resources for health;
    • Identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner;
    • Suggest appropriate program adjustments;
    • Offer solutions in a complex development environment

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Master’s Degree, ideally in Public Administration, Public Health, or a related area (exceptional relevant experience, which includes a minimum of 15 years managing the implementation of development assistance programs may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree);
    • Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience working in the health sector;
    • Of the twelve (12) years, minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing donor/client-funded programs in Haiti;
    • Demonstrated experience in successful collaboration with senior government officials, development partners, and civil society organizations;
    • Demonstrated experience successfully managing a high-paced, multi-disciplinary team to achieve development results; and
    • Required oral and written fluency in French and English; fluency in Haitian Creole is highly desired.
