QED seeks to hire an Executive Assistant (EA), a role to support the CEO/ Founder in fulfilling her broad range of responsibilities. The candidate should be highly organized, an effective communicator, a multi tasker, and have the ability to operate independently. The EA should be smart and quick critical thinker who works well in an extremely fast-paced, results-driven and deadline sensitive environment who is able to adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities. The person should have a proven track record in being reliable, be able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Crucially, in addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined below, the EA should be prepared, as and when necessary, to take on additional responsibilities and respond to events and developments that cannot be anticipated easily. He should be able to be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and responsibilities.


  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO/ Founder including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments.
  • Preparing meeting notes and agendas, taking minutes, following-up on actions resulting from all important meetings within and outside of QED Group.
  • Being able to independently identify areas and take the intiiative to follow up on tasks as needed from meetings etc.
  • Ability to think independently and find ways to actively assist the CEO/ Founder with research and in presentation management, analytics and projects.
  • Executes special or continuous research and data analysis tasks. Analyzes problems, determines approach, compiles and analyzes data, and prepares reports/recommendations.
  • Managing CEO/ Founder travel arrangements and proactively coordinating visas, hotels, transportation, meeting agendas and necessary contacts, as well as other information. 
  • Creative thinking abilities to solve problems.
  • Providing support and assistance to the CEO/ Founder for Board Meetings, including preparing the agenda, other correspondence and updates, recording minutes and action points.
  • Explore events linked to Research, M&E, Impact Investment, Innovation and other international development issues and advising the CEO/ Founder on participation in the same.
  • Understands confidentiality and has the maturity to communicate right information in the direction.
  • Strict attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to write well and communicate clearly and effectively with other senior executives and other QED staff.
  • Well versed in the use of technology and technology driven solutions and its applications in business.


  • Undergraduate degree or higher in business, economics, finance, office management or equivalent qualification relevant to the role. 
  • Professional qualifications like a course in Administration, MS Suite, .or related.
  • 3-5 years of experience in providing administrative support to senior executives.  
  • Experience in working and interacting with US/international executives.
  • Ability to work with people in different time zones
