Overview

The USAID/Uganda Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Program, also referred to as The Learning Contract, is a five-year activity expected to start in mid-2018. QED will help USAID/Uganda strengthen its performance and, to a lesser extent the performance of its Implementing Partners, in collaborating, learning and performing in order to fortify the impact and sustainability of USAID-supported contributions to Uganda’s development. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit project summaries and outreach materials.
  • Improve the quality of internal and external USAID/Uganda documents and reports.
  • Prepare and oversee project information publication and dissemination.
  • Prepare and oversee content briefs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in professional writing and editing, especially for a company, non-profit organizations.
  • Extensive knowledge of professional editorial practices and proof-reading marks.
  • Deep attention to details.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Impeccable grammar.
