Governance Support Program in Turkmenistan, funded by USAID (GSP) and WHO Country Office in Turkmenistan will cooperate to introduce WHO Bioethics Standards and Principles and to strengthen national capacity in developing national bioethics policy and legislative base within the context of realization of key strategic documents of the Government of Turkmenistan including and not limited by “Saglyk” Health Program of Turkmenistan for 2016-2020.
Level of Effort (hours)
Development of an agenda and preparation of presentations and hand-out materials for the participants of the one-day workshop and two-day TOT on the relevant topic.
Delivery of the one-day workshop and two-day TOT on the topic: “Bioethics as a Prominent Force in Legislation and Public Policy, and in Other Practical Application of Theoretical Principles” (International and CAR Experience).
Based on the outcomes of the discussions during the workshops and results of the TOT prepare a final report with general recommendations relevant to Bioethics standards and principles introduction in Turkmenistan
