Overview

The QED Group, LLC is looking for a talented individual to work as an Intern at our Arlington, VA office.  The intern will work closely with the Human Resources department, assisting with setting up a company training program, and will gain valuable experience in human resources.

 

The selected candidate will be flexible, proactive, and resourceful regarding the company and staff needs. This position is needed for part-time work, 2 or 3 days a week.

 

Summary: The intern will be responsible for analyzing training needs to help develop and implement a training program

Responsibilities

  • Consult with department managers and supervisors to assess training needs
  • Work with department managers to develop content for the training program
  • Document procedures for the training program
  • Maintain continual education support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed.
  • Develop system to evaluate training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and implement a schedule to update curriculum
  • Prepare training announcements and coordinate training schedule
  • Develop and maintain organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
  • Determine what follow up studies should be completed to evaluate and measure results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in progress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrable ability to prioritize among multiple competing requests.
  • Able to produce high quality work under deadline.
